Day shirts unite Ukrainians

Ukrainians appealed to the President of the country to establish an annual celebration of the embroidery. On this day, activists urged all Ukrainian citizens dress in traditional embroidery for our country, thereby to express their solidarity and unity with the people of Ukraine.

This tradition was formed in the colorful city of Chernivtsi, where the first year the third Thursday of May, residents of everywhere dress in embroidered shirts. This year, which, in spite of all the difficulties and the tragic events that largely contributed to the unification of the Ukrainian nation, we join in the coming flashmob nationwide and encourage all conscious citizens not to stand aside and follow the general example.
